וַיְהִ֨י בְמָלְכ֜וֹ כְּשִׁבְתּ֣וֹ עַל־כִּסְא֗וֹ הִכָּה֙ אֶת־כָּל־בֵּ֣ית בַּעְשָׁ֔א לֹֽא־הִשְׁאִ֥יר ל֖וֹ מַשְׁתִּ֣ין בְּקִ֑יר וְגֹאֲלָ֖יו וְרֵעֵֽהוּ׃
E avvenne, quando cominciò a regnare, non appena si sedette sul suo trono, che colpì tutta la casa di Baasa; non lo lasciò un solo uomo-bambino, né i suoi parenti, né i suoi amici.
